Holiday Geekery

Let n and m be Days of Christmas, where m≤n.
Let Nm,n be the total number of copies of the Day m gift received by the end of Day n.
Therefore:

Nm,n = m(n-m+1)

Example: On the 5th Day of Christmas (December 29, n = 5), the total number of French Hens (m = 3) received will be 3(5-3+1) = 9. 3 on Day 3, 3 on Day 4, 3 on Day 5.
